Office Policies

New appointment policies effective October 1st:

We have heard your feedback and, in an effort to maintain timely schedules, we are enforcing a strict 15-minute grace period. If you arrive at the office 15 minutes or more past your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. We ask that you contact the office in advance if you know you will be late for your appointment.

Please present the front and back of your insurance card in hard copy form for each visit. We are unable to accept digital versions or print copies of your insurance card for you. Failure to supply a front and back hard copy of your current insurance card may result in needing to reschedule your appointment.

There is a $50 No Show fee applied to missing a scheduled appointment. We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice of appointment cancellation to avoid this fee.

Thank you for your understanding and for entrusting us with your care.

Blood Product Consent Policy

The practitioners at North Atlanta OB/GYN ask your permission to accept blood transfusion if it is necessary to preserve life, promote recovery, or prevent future medical complications. The blood transfusion can include whole blood or blood products. These blood products could come from community blood banks or from directed or autologous (your own) blood sources. The practitioners feel both an ethical and a personal desire to help avoid transfusion if possible, but also have an obligation to use all measures to ensure your health and safety.

Please note that North Atlanta OB/GYN has the right to deny you care if you are unable or willing to consent to this policy. You must be willing to accept blood product if medically necessary in order to be a patient of North Atlanta OB/GYN.
